This geese diptych is based on the story of the writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry tells about a flock of tame geese, who never saw anything other than their stable, their pond and their feeding trough. One day a flight of wild geese comes over. Something wonderful happens: the tame geese start flapping their wings. They don’t know why. Perhaps it has to do with images that pop up in their little heads for a moment – of lakes, forests and mountains…
